In the heart of Hohenberg, the Gasthof Zur Burg inn awaits you with its own farm, fish farm, and sausage production.
Here you will find cozy double rooms, vacation homes, and apartments.
The ideal starting point for relaxing days in Upper Franconia, Czechia, or the Upper Palatinate. In our restaurant, you can enjoy authentic Franconian cuisine made with products from our farm while looking out at a legendary castle. Whether meat, fish, eggs, or much more, we will spoil you with our specialties according to the motto “Fresh from the farm to the table—regional quality you can taste.” Families feel particularly at home with us, and children and pets are very welcome. Our inn is the ideal location for getting to know the surrounding area. Enjoy the imposing castle complex, hike along the banks of the idyllic Eger River, or start a bike tour in the Fichtelgebirge Nature Park, e.g., to the Luisenburg rock labyrinth in neighboring Czechia. Even in bad weather, the Weißenstadt thermal baths or other baths in the area are available to you. For culture, you can visit the porcelain museum, automobile museum, or various outlets for shopping. Our fifth-generation family business looks forward to your visit.

Fahren Sie auf der B303 Richtung Norden und nehmen Sie die Ausfahrt Waldsassen/Schirnding/Selb/Hohenberg a.d. Eger. Nach ca 400m biegen Sie links ab und folgen der Schirndinger Str. für 1,2km. Jetzt biegen Sie rechts auf den Burgplatz ab. Ihr Ziel befindet sich auf der linken Seite.

Sehr freundlich die Gastgeber, Frühstück muss man den bescheid sagen ob man das möchte, sehr Tier freundlich konnte meinen Hund mit in die Gastätte nehmen

Könnte besser und sauberer sein. Sehr enttäuschend.

Türklinke Eingangstüre nicht fest, Hamdtuchhalter defekt und nicht nutzbar, überall Spinnweben, Haare von früheren Gästen in der Badewanne, Abdeckungen von Sat-Dose liegt Lise auf dem Boden, W-Lan funktioniert nicht. Ansonsten in die Jahre gekommen, aber ok.
