A typical 15th-century farmhouse, formerly inhabited by the farmer in charge of cultivating the large surrounding land, owned by the noble lords of the time. In those days, far from the centre of Gallipoli, the structure had to allow the large family living there to be self-sufficient. In fact, on the ground floor there are, worn out by time and sea air, now restored to allow the welcome guests to stay, a 'torchiata', which was used to make wine, an oven for baking bread, a small stable and a storeroom. Today, given its proximity to the sea, which is easily reached on foot, it is surrounded by sports and tourist centres and is well served by the surrounding infrastructure, but inside the characteristic 'dry wall' fence it still retains all its charm. There is also a parking space, garden, barbecue, reading room, grove with relaxation corner, bicycles; within a radius of 200/500 metres, and therefore within easy walking distance, you can find a low cliff with a small sandy inlet, sports centres, water playground, swimming pools, restaurant, pizzeria, wine cellar with wine-bar, supermarket; within 5 minutes by car you can reach wide beaches with pinewoods or the centre of Gallipoli.
