Whats not to like about Moatside Gate, from the moment we arrived it was warm and inviting. The property has everything you would need for two couples to stay comfortably. Its location is brilliant being just a few minutes walk to the city centre. There is parking for two cars as well. \r\n

Managed to book in early and have found Stays York to be a very efficient company. I have used them before.\r\nMoatside was everything we hoped it would be, clean and very welcoming. Our three day break was to celebrate a friends birthday and Moatside was in an excellent position to visit the centre and the Christmas market.

We like it because we can have two bathrooms though I miss the bath after a days cycling. I would have rated the location excellent but Gillygate is always full of polluting traffic.York is too crowded but there are good walks and cycle rides away from the city.I will stay here again next year if we ca
