Information about the host
Welcome to our guesthouse, which is located in the centre of the old town of Bamberg, near the river Regnitz, in a quiet space facing the garden of St Michaels mountain. Our guesthouse is only a few minutes' walk from all the sights of Bamberg, such as the cathedral, the prince bishops residence, St. Michaels mountain and the concert hall. The "Sandstraße" is the gastronomic "going out mile" in the old town. Not only cyclists therefore appreciate the opportunity to explore the UNESCO World Heritage sites, which are right on the doorstep, comfortably on foot. Your car can be savely stored (subject to a fee) either in the nearby public underground car parks "Residenzschloss" or "Zentrum Nord/ Georgendamm". Free parking is available in the Schweinfurter Straße.

Conditions/extras
A deposit of 20% can be charged after booking and the balance is to be paid on arrival in cash. Cancellations up to 7 days before arrival are free of charge. Cancellations after that date will be charged with 90% of the total price.

Description of the accommodation
For families or small groups we offer the holiday flat #2 with 2 rooms in our guesthouse, quietly situated in a separate rear building facing St. Michaels garden. These are bright and allergy friendly (no carpeting) and have 2 box-spring double beds, each 2m * 1.8m. In addition, you can use an (unheated) covered and wind-protected veranda of 15 sqm facing the garden. The holiday flat can be occupied by up to 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children (in 2 separate rooms). The common bathroom (bathtub/shower possibility) is only accessible through one of the two bedrooms. Bed linen and towels are provided, the final cleaning is of course included in the price. A refrigerator and cooking facilities (kitchenette, 2 hotplates, coffee machine for filter coffee, kettle, but NO oven or microwave) with the usual kitchen utensils are available. Other equipment includes a table and 4 chairs, 2 chests of drawers for clothes, 1 wardrobe, 3 bedside tables. All rooms are non-smoking and suitable for allergy sufferers. TV is not available, our WLAN can be used free of charge. Location is on the 1st floor, accessible via stairs.

Conditions/extras
Arrival from 3 pm to 6 pm. An earlier arrival is possible by prior arrangement. Departure until 11 am. Pets are not allowed. Boarding: Fresh bread roll service, please order the evening before. Please pick up the keys at Hotel Tandem (opposite), Untere Sandstrasse 20. 2 bicycles can be rented (12 EUR/ day/ bike), please reserve in advance. Bicycles brought along can be stored under a roof in the courtyard.
