The villa has been newly built on a steep slope from the core of an old village house according to the design of a tradition-conscious architect. From the terrace, which is mostly covered with natural stone, there is a panoramic view of the sea and the mainland, the pleasant ambience of the very tastefully furnished house and the enchanting sunsets certainly contribute to a holiday to remember.on the ground floor is the living room with an open fireplace made of natural stone with seat-high side wings. Behind this is the bathroom with shower, washbasin, WC and washing machine. Separated from the living area by a bar, there is a modern fitted kitchen and the first floor comprises two bedrooms, one of which is very spacious. Each room has access to a large balcony with sea views. A further bathroom with bath, large washbasin and WC can be reached from a small hallway. Below the covered terrace, a staircase leads to a sunny patio garden with a sunbathing area. Guests are free to use this part of the garden.EQUIPMENT Living-dining room: Wall sofa with valuable upholstery, dining table with wicker armchairs, satellite TV, fireplace. Kitchen: German brand fitted kitchen, equipped with modern electrical appliances, long work counter as room divider, large fridge with freezer compartment and fresh food storage compartment. The cooking zone includes the cooker with ceramic hob, oven trolley, extractor fan and integrated lighting.Bathrooms: Sophisticated tiling, branded bathtub, washbasin and WC.Bedrooms: A large bedroom with high-quality mattresses, halogen reading lights, wardrobes and linen cupboards, standing mirror and sitting area. THE LOCATIONThe island of Thassos is located in the north of the Aegean Sea near the mainland, off the coast of the city of Kavala. From there it can be reached by car ferry in 75 min. by car ferry and 25 minutes by hydrofoil. Another option is the harbour town of Keramoti near the airport, approx. 40 km. from Kavala, which has an hourly ferry service. (crossing 35 min.)The starting point of Prinos comprises 5 settlements and a harbour. One of the settlements is the old Kazaviti or 'Megalos Prinos', whose early settlement history dates back to the Middle Ages, while the current buildings date back to the mid-nineteenth century.The village is located inland, 5 or 7 km from the main town of Prinos and its beaches.It is advisable for holidaymakers to use a hire car, of which there is a wide range on the island.
