Curlew Cottage is a two-bedroom cottage situated in Lelant, a charming village on the main road to Carbis Bay and St Ives. This holiday home is arranged over two floors and is well-equipped for families and couples alike and benefits from being dog friendly. It is interspersed with original features such as a homely wood burner and a delightful, enclosed garden and patio perfect for those cosy nights in or dining alfresco after a busy day exploring.
The traditional open plan living area welcomes you as you enter through the front door. The lounge area has two brightly coloured sofas, a wall-mounted Smart TV and a traditional stone inglenook wood burner. The kitchen is well equipped with an American fridge/ freezer, double electric oven and two ring ceramic hob, microwave, washing machine and a Nespresso coffee machine. Leading off the kitchen you will find a dining room table and seating for six, perfect for entertaining.
Located on the first floor is the master bedroom which is light and airy and has a king size bed, fitted wardrobes and a wall mounted TV. The second bedroom has two single beds, ample storage, a small sofa and a quaint window seat to watch the world go by. The family bathroom has a large walk in rainfall shower, wash hand basin, WC and heated towel rail.
There is a private garden with a patio area at the back with a kettle barbeque, perfect for al fresco dining. There is also a small terrace area with seating where you can enjoy a glass of wine bathing in the Cornish sunshine.

Access Statement – There are no steps leading to the front door of Curlew Cottage. The garden is accessed via a flight of stairs from the back door consisting of seven steps. The second level of the garden is accessed via a further five steps.

Only drawback really was it opens onto a busy-ish road. Parking nearby on Station Hill was fine (make sure your handbrake works). One or two little niggles sorted out quickly by the property manager Alex (thanks Alex!)

Everything was great except the lack of parking- we hadn’t realised this until we received the final details…otherwise everything was beautiful, clean & delightfully decorated!

On arrival very disappointed with location as on very busy road and no allocated parking which meant we were driving up and down the road. Also in the property seal had gone around the log burner so unable to use it plus tv was very temperamental not turning on, the Rayburn cooker which was just for...
