Just returned from a week away at the Old Carthouse. It is in a peaceful location but within easy reach of lots of places to visit. We loved listening to & watching the birds; especially the woodpeckers. The barn is great if you need a more accessible place to stay. My Dad is 96 & he thought it was great. Thanks for a lovely stay

Very good cottage for getting away from it all. Nice terrace area with bird feeders which were very popular with the blue tits and occasional squirrel and woodpecker. Minus point for poor WiFi and mobile network signal due to remote location.

Lovely place to stay. Good facilities and beautiful country surrounding with historic towns to visit including Steyning, Arundel and Lewis. Wi-Fi and phone signal poor and at times non existent. Travelling from overseas.
