Set in the sleepy hamlet of Simonstone, this charming barn conversion dating back to the 18th century boasts splendid views across to Stags Fell and Shaw Gill Wood where you will discover glistening waterfalls and a fine display of bluebells in the Spring.
There are woodland and fell walks literally from the doorstep, and a hotel serving meals in Simonstone.
The market town of Hawes (two miles) offers antique and speciality shops, craft workshops, country inns, restaurants, tea rooms and the Wensleydale Cheese Visitor Centre.
Shop 1¾ miles, pub ½ mile and restaurant 175 yards.
Please note there is no WIFI at Greystones Cottage, however several pubs and cafes in the village have free Wi-Fi available.

Lovely cottage. Everything we needed to hand and more. Lovely walks in the area. Only shame was that the postcode wasn't for Hawes but a Hamelet in Simonstone, which is about a 30/35 minute walk away. Very clean. It is lovely seeing the baby lambs and birds from our windows.

Cosy, comfortable and well-equipped cottage. Great location and walks on your door step.Only negative would be all the cupboards were full so nowhere to put your shopping/food unless you moved things to make space, and would benefit from some new chopping knives. Specs of rust and blunt.Would recommend and would stay again.

Wonderful break away in the Yorkshire Dales. The cottage was well equipped with everything you could need; information on the cottage and the surrounding area, we found information on the red squirrels and a driving tour of the Dales that we hadn’t previously thought about. The cottage itself was warm and cozy, easy to find and plenty of parking space
