Built in the 1880s The Old Guesthouse has been in the same family for 75 years.

Previously a traditional Margate guesthouse, it is ideally proportioned for a comfortable and stylish holiday experience, accommodating eight people comfortably with an extra two in the lovely loft room.

Having closed as a guest house in the late 1980s, the house has been lavishly restored and renovated and now welcomes guests again for the first time in 2021.

From 1945 until 1988, literally thousands of people used the house as the base for their family seaside holiday and the family are thrilled to be able to offer the house again as a perfect holiday retreat. Ideally located for all that Margate has to offer, the famous Golden Mile beach is a stone’s throw away. The old town, with its array of shops, cafés, restaurants and the Turner Contemprory is a 10 minute walk along the iconic sea front.

Dreamland, England’s oldest amusement park is a five minute walk and the local shops at Westbrook are literally just around the corner! Guests will find a welcome pack, including the all important pods for the coffee machine, a bottle of wine and other local treats. Families or couples only. Only dogs allowed at the property.
