Traditional cottage retreat right on the beach at Silverdale enjoying fine views across the sea to the Lakeland Fells beyond.. Ground Floor:

Beach side cottages always prove a popular choice with our guests in the south Lakes so when we had the opportunity to market a seaside retreat in Silverdale, we thought well, why not? Although not strictly Cumbria, this delightful seaside village is only a few miles from Kendal and a mere 20 miles from Kirkby Lonsdale making it an ideal base for exploring no less than three counties in one trip.
An area of outstanding natural beauty, nature lovers will revel in the flora and fauna of the area as well as some excellent walking, a fabulous beach and wonderful views of the Lakeland Fells and Morecambe Bay. The cottage is very traditional, the rooms to the front of the house have panoramic sea views and being so very close to the beach, you can watch the younger ones from the front porch.

A well-equipped cottage in a very peaceful location. The lounge is comfortable with a superb view over Morecambe Bay from the window. The kitchen is well-equipped and the beds were very comfortable. The Silverdale Hotel nearby has an excellent restaurant.

Lovely cottage, very clean well furnished, great location,just a couple of niggles ,only 4 mugs when it sleeps 6 ,only comfy seating for 5 and as someone already pointed out why no washing up liquid.
I'm sure we will be back .

A lovely spot, and a great place for us and our two dogs. Scrupulously clean and tidy. With all the amenities required. Basic home comforts without any frills, but this suits us needs.
