A stunning detached quirky cottage, which used to be the old Pump Engine House for the Water Tower which supplied water to Chillington Hall and its farm buildings.

The Pump House has been transformed into an amazing holiday home that provides excellent quality, superb furnishings and beautiful views over some of the estate land.
The estate itself lies on the Staffordshire/Shropshire borders, providing a good base from which to discover both areas. Guests are able to explore some of the private grounds of the Hall or the many public footpaths and bridleways that cross the 4000-acre estate (maps provided on arrival).
On certain days of the year, the grounds are opened up to the public so they can explore the beautiful Hall, the Capability Brown landscaped Park, Lake and Woodlands. Attractions nearby include Penkridge Wharf and The Shropshire Union Canal, the RAF Museum at Cosford, The Potteries, Ironbridge Gorge Museum, Dudley Zoological Gardens, Stafford Castle, National Sea Life Centre and the Hoo Farm Animal Kingdom.
Birmingham is just 30 minutes’ away, with train services running from Codsall, just 2½ miles away.
With the historic towns of Ludlow and Worcester within easy driving distance, it truly is a perfect base. Free WiFi Cats are not allowed at the property. Only dogs allowed at the property. Pets must be kept on a lead at all times. We had a lovely relaxing long weekend & the pump house is such a lovely place and the grounds. It was lovely to see the lambs, pheasants, rabbits and squirrels. I took my late fathers camera with us and got some great pictures. We would definitely return.

Stunning place and a joy to stay there
Only criticism is lots of dog hairs on the furniture and we don’t have a dog
But would still recommend the property as it’s delightful and in a great location

If you like peace and quiet then this is the place for you. Just the birds, trees and beautiful sunsets. Lovely walks from the Pump House, we didn't touch the car for six days. We will definitely be back.
