We absolutely loved our little break over the bank holiday weekend. So clean had what we needed the only thing we would say is the main bedroom stunk of smoke so bad and there was no back door key but didn’t ruin our stay we had a lovely time! Staff in the pub are great and the food is amazing! Will definitely return :)

Fantastic location albeit a bit remote however plenty of places to visit (by car) for walking with 4 legged friends but highlight was the bar staff as made us very welcome for evening meals when dining with a dog, they are exceptional. We will be back again soon

The cottage is very dog friendly, clean and comfortable. I would recommend eating at the Cross Keys. The food is delicious the staff are welcoming and it is also dog friendly. Check with staff if you plan to eat there as it is not open every day. We had planned to eat there again on one of the days it was meant to be open but discovered it had closed to hold a prom night.
