Along the seafront there is a long marine drive, which is a great place for a leisurely walk with over 3 miles of flat walking.

There is also the Stephen Joseph Theatre, home to most of Alan Ayckbourn’s premieres.

Scarborough is host to the yearly county cricket festival and you can spend a leisurely day watching cricket at its best. The traditional seaside resorts of Filey and Flamborough Head are close by, and a 30-minute car journey north will take you to Whitby, home to the wonderful abbey which was the inspiration to Brahm Stoker’s book, Dracula.
