On entering this semi-detached house you will not be disappointed, as it has a wonderful open plan kitchen, living and dining area to greet you, along with a stunning galleried bedroom and a single room on the ground floor.

Find the Major Oak in Sherwood Forest, which is a short walk from the visitor centre.
In addition to Rufford Country Park and Mill, the house is also close to Sherwood Pines, Clumber Park (National Trust) and Thoresby Hall.
The Adrenalin Jungle is on the doorstep, with everything from archery to zorbing, or visit Lockwell Hill for quad biking, and Amen Corner for go karting.
Go Ape is close by, as are Sherwood Forest Activity Centre, The Mill Adventure Base, White Post Farm and Wheelgate Park, which is a 30-acre, all-weather family theme and water park.
Robin’s Nest really is a great place to stay at any time of the year! Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.

Extremely well equipped and great welcome pack. Very clean. Only problems were the kitchen blind string was hard to reach and the wall units were too high. A guide to central heating controller would be useful. I found it difficult to see and just turned, pressed and hoped! Road noisy from early morning. Still a great place🤗

perfect place for exploring sherwood forest , nice village, the part of the village where the cottage is located is on a busy rd which could do with some speed control
