Overlooking the seaside resort of Cromer in an area of outstanding natural beauty, and set in attractive gardens and wooded grounds. Guests have all year round use of an indoor heated swimming pool, sauna and hot tub, which are all included within the price. Other on-site facilities include a snooker room, indoor badminton, fitness room. There is an extensive entertainment program including children’s activities in the newly-refurbished Beach Club. There is easy access to the many pathways giving excellent cliff top walks, with stepped paths leading down to the beach, an stunning walk alongside the golf course to the village of Overstrand. A bar/restaurant for dining in or take-away is available all year. The resort is built into the hillside which means that the site is terraced and has steps and slopes throughout and therefore may not be suitable for the infirm.
Within a mile is the popular, traditional Victorian seaside resort of Cromer, with its wide sandy beach, lifeguards (summer season), grass tennis courts, an 18-hole cliff top golf course and promenade gardens. During the summer season, there is plenty of entertainment, including the famous end-of-pier theatre shows including Christmas Spectacular. The pier is also home to the very famous Cromer lifeboat and which is steeped in local history. Sheringham, 5 miles, offers a further sandy beach. RSPB nature and bird reserves can be found at Cley, Blakeney and Morston and seals on the beach at Horsey Gap. For children, there is Amazona Zoo in Cromer, a go-karting centre 1 mile away and Wroxham Barns.
