A detached property located next to the owner's thatched cottage in the village of Fulbourn, a pretty village hidden in the delightful Cambridgeshire countryside.
This Cambridgeshire cottage has a modern kitchen and a small shower room on the ground floor, with stairs leading to the first floor.
Here, guests to this Cambridgeshire cottage will find an open plan living area with dining area, sitting area and bedroom area, with sloping ceilings and Velux windows providing views over the countryside.
This Cambridgeshire cottage also includes an area to sit, with table and chairs providing views over the owner's garden and surrounding countryside.
Just a short walk down the lane at the bottom of the drive is the wooded area of Fulbourn Fen nature reserve.
A 5 mile drive takes you to the beautiful city of Cambridge, with museums and gardens, where you can enjoy a punt down the river or sample the many delights of the cafés and restaurants.
From the museum at Duxford to racing at Newmarket, and country houses such as Audley Endand Wimpole Hall, there is so much to enjoy from this Cambridgeshire cottage.

The Studio, Horseshoe Cottage is a cosy two storey studio property, set next to the owners' home in the country village of Fulbourn, 5 miles from Cambridge. This charming property has a first floor open plan living area with a dining and sitting area, and a double bed in the same room, which has sloping ceilings and country views. There is a small shower room on the ground floor, and a kitchen downstairs too. Outside, guests enjoy use of a decked patio with furniture, and there is off road parking for two cars. The Fulbourn Fen Nature Reserve is at the end of the lane, and with Cambridge, Duxford and Newmarket close by, The Studio, Horseshoe Cottage makes a lovely holiday base for couples to explore this peaceful area. Please note as of November 2022 the check in day will be a Friday.

Note: The decking area is no longer available. There is a parasol, a table with chairs and cushions available.

We had a lovely stay enjoyed the local walk , seeing the snowdrops..
It was a pity that the paddock was not secure, however the munjac that we saw were enjoying feeding there.
It was lovely and warm even though it was freezing outside very welcome when we got back.

we had a lovely stay at The Studio. We were able to use it as an excellent base to visit local places.. Sadly as we had a heat wave and owning a gog this restricted where we could travel but as Fulbourn Fen was just a few yards away this offered a shaded place to visit when it was really hot. Elaine and Geoff were very helpful with suggestions for visits.

The Studio was a nice little place. We received a nice warm welcome from the owners. We marked it down a little due to the lack of space in the shower/toilet room and the number of times we forgot about the sloping ceiling upstairs.
