Head to the nearby charming towns of Ashbourne (8miles) or Leek (7miles) and take advantage of their wide range of amenities and attractive architecture and for the thrill-seekers, a visit to well known Alton Towers (8mls) is a must. The Churnet Valley Heritage Railway runs from Cheddleton (5miles) to Frogall and the Manifold Valley for walking or cycling is visible one mile distant.
