Within half a mile of your Wiltshire holiday cottage, the delightful Kennet and Avon Canal provides scenic, gentle walks and cycle trails along its towpath, where you can stop for refreshment at one of the attractive waterside inns.

Venture to the nearby market town of Devizes, tour the Wadworth Brewery or enjoy one of the regular narrow boat cruises, which lazily meander through the Pewsey Vale, well-known for its seasonal crop circles and the white horses etched into the chalky downland.

We really enjoyed our stay in this well located property. The cottage was clean , comfortable and well equipped. Most important for us it was lovely and quiet, with no traffic noise. The cottage deserves its 5 star rating. We would agree with a previous comment that the single bed layout might be better reorientated to allow older people easier access.

Lovely spacious cottage in tranquil surroundings. Fully equipped kitchen. Very comfortable stay. Quiet and dark at night, perfect to gaze at the stars. Deer in the overlooking fields, ducks in the pond. Perfect for exploring the outdoors. Bath, Stonehenge, Salisbury, Wells, Cheddar gorge all within a short drive. Dont forget the check out the locks at Devizes :)
