The cottage offers one charming double bedroom and a bathroom with a bath and a shower over. There is an open plan living area, which features a well-equipped kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with a woodburning stove and French doors leading outside. Outside, you will find an enclosed lawned garden and a patio with furniture. There is also off road parking for two cars. Mallard is a wonderful base for a romantic retreat exploring the Heart of England, all year round. Three well-behaved dogs welcome.

Great location with lots of lovely walks on the doorstep. Very comfortable and cosy, great to see the sheep and lambs. Steve very welcoming and friendly. Liked the high-end decor, furniture and curtains etc. Really enjoyed our stay and would thoroughly recommend.

this was the third time we have been here it’s what we call our happy place. it’s so close to the forest of dean where we take the dogs it’s also it’s set in beautiful surroundings where you can take your dogs or just enjoy walking and take in the stunning views

A lovely place to relax with all home comforts. A well equipped cottage that's goes above and beyond.This was our third stay and we loved it. The village shop provides you with all you would need food wise with homemade pies and cakes.Ideal if you have dogs as the garden is fully enclosed so no need to worry about letting them out.
