Offering beautiful views over the harbour and Salcombe estuary, this second-floor flat provides comfortable holiday accommodation for a family or one/two couples and is ideally situated in the very centre of Salcombe, just a short walk from the waterfront, ferries, boutiques, pubs and restaurants.
The cosy open-plan living and dining room is furnished with a sofa and two armchairs, and a dining table seating four guests comfortably.
Relax in the living area or well equipped kitchen and enjoy tranquil views of the Salcombe Estuary, or venture outside and participate in watersports such as sailing, kayaking or stand-up paddleboarding. Bedroom one is a king size room with a TV, and bedroom two has two 3’ twin beds, ideal for a family getaway. The family bathroom includes a bath with shower over.
There is a separate w.c. This is an excellent base for exploring Salcombe, just a short ferry ride from the stunning sandy beaches at East Portlemouth and South Sands.
Spend long days building sandcastles on the beach, or explore the South Devon coastline by boat or on foot, before returning to the popular town of Salcombe to make the most of fantastic pubs and eateries.

We had a very comfortable stay. The location is excellent, with a fabulous view over the estuary. We watched the activities on the water for ages.
Being so close to a superb bakery and the pasty shop was great, especially when it rained.
A busy location, so off-loading our bags needed to be carefully organised, but it wasn't too bad.

The occupants of the single beds found them a little hard, which could be improved by adding a mattress topper.
For summer temperatures the duvets were a bit too thick.
It would have been useful to have two sets of keys as two of us were sailing and two were walking and it was difficult to co ordinate our returns.

A lovely stay at this property. I have stayed in many holiday flats in Salcombe over the years and 8b Fore Street has to be the cleanest ever - all credit to the person who is responsible for this. Great view of the estuary from the living room window was a real bonus. I wish there was a dishwasher instead of the washing machine but that's because I detest washing up!
