Located near the River Avon within the town of Warwick, which is known best for its medieval castle, founded by William the Conqueror, is this superb detached cottage.
Castle View situated opposite the famous castle itself, offering stunning scenery from the property’s balcony, the perfect place to spend lazy evenings relaxing with a glass of wine, or take a seat indoors on the top floor to admire the view.
When you get to the door of the detached property, enter the hall and kick off your boots as you rest on the royal armchair placed conveniently for resting after exploring the town centre of Warwick.
There are four bedrooms within the property, ideal for sleeping a large family or group of friends, offering magnificent views from every room, especially the spacious super-king on the second floor with its panoramic picture windows amongst the balcony area.
On the ground floor is a superb open-living space, with beams giving the property a more traditional feel and ensuring a diverse design that works well to give the cottage a lot of character.
Attached to the sitting area fitted with a stone feature wall and ample seating is an orangey; quirky and quaint, it’s the best place to relax on summer evenings with the sun trap of the room keeping you toasty while you sip on a chilled beverage.
The property also features a modest courtyard, with large hanging trees and seating for two, it feels like its own romantic tropical paradise in the summer months.
Head out the front door to get up close and personal with the castle itself, being just 0.5 miles away next to The Mill Garden, it’s a pretty place to spend a morning walk, or head into the bustling town of Warwick where you can find a selection of shops, eateries, and a museum, where you can learn about the local history of the town.
Hop on the train from the city centre and head to Birmingham to explore the Industrial Revolution-era landmarks such as the Black Country Living Museum to enrich yourself with history, or for a family-fun trip Cadbury World is always a winner with any younger guests.
