River Cottage Hayfield has been designed to bring together family and friends, or a group of walkers, on the North-Western edge of the Peak National Park, offering a vast array of walks and activities to suit all ages and tastes.
After a long walk over the green foothills, be welcomed into a spacious hallway, where you and your loved ones can kick off your muddy walking boots before relaxing into your evening with the seamless blend of traditional and contemporary interior.
Step into the kitchen/diner, where the exposed beams and stable door reflect the property's history, while the quality appliances, including the Range cooker, dishwasher, and washer/dryer, ensure you have everything you need to enjoy a relaxing break.
The charm of the property is continued into the sitting room, where the woodburning stove takes centre stage before the plush sofas and the Smart TV.
From here, throw open the patio doors to discover your private garden area, where you and your loved ones can dine alfresco whilst soaking up the views of the river and the charming village.
As the evening draws to a close, venture up the staircase to find four well-presented bedrooms to choose from, each designed to ensure a tranquil setting to retire to each evening.
On the first-floor you will find a king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower and a twin bedroom (zip/link beds), whilst the second floor houses a king-size bedroom which is accessed through a twin bedroom.

River Cottage Hayfield is a semi-detached property situated within the village of Hayfield. It houses four bedrooms, comprising of a double bed (zip/link, can be made into twins) with an en-suite shower, basin and WC, a twin bedroom, a second-floor double, and a second-floor twin, together sleeping up to eight people. On the first floor there is a family bathroom with a shower over bath, basin and WC. Completing the interior is a kitchen/diner and a sitting room. Outside, there is a patio which overlooks the river with table and chairs. River Cottage Hayfield is a superb base for exploring this part of the Peak National Park.

Cottage was lovely and clean and the touches of presecco chocolates teas etc and of course the duck food was nice gestures however although the cottage was spot on we were so disappointed with village facilities.
