Perched in the pretty chocolate box village of Bushley near Tewkesbury in Worcestershire, is this idyllic two-bedroom cottage, Churchend Cottage.
Boasting original features of exposed brick walls and beams, as well as easy access to the cities of Cheltenham and Gloucester, Churchend Cottage is a superb dwelling for two couples or a family of four looking to explore the Cotswolds.
Park up in the convenient parking space on the gravelled driveway, before unloading your bags and being greeted by the pretty front garden bursting with shrubs and trees.
Be welcomed into the living/dining room, where you will feel right at home curling up on the sofa in front of your favourite TV show, as the woodburning stove crackles nearby, or tucking into a long, lazy dinner at the dining table whilst discussing plans for the days ahead.
Head to the kitchen where you will find everything you need to get creative with your cooking, including a dishwasher for an easy clean up! If the weather is nice, why not treat your guests to an alfresco dinner out on the patio as you savour the last of the day’s sunshine? Completing the ground-floor is a bathroom, where you can indulge in a blissful soak in the beautiful rolltop bath or freshen up with refreshing rinse in the shower.
Climb the stairs to the first floor where you will find two well-appointed rooms, a double and a 4’0” double, both perfect for enjoying a restful night.

Just a short drive away is the market town of Tewkesbury, home to a medieval abbey with a Romanesque tower, as well as The John Moore Countryside Museum and the Tewkesbury Battlefield, the famous site of the ‘Wars of Roses’, here you can watch re-enactments, a marketplace, stalls and rides.
Next stop is Cheltenham, well-known for its racecourse which plays host to the annual Cheltenham Festival, here you will also find the fascinating Pittville Pump Room, a superb selection of art at The Wilson museum and the Victorian Everyman Theatre, a 658-seat auditorium which hosts live performances and shows.
Be sure to make a stop at Gloucester, where you can tour a former prison and embark on a ghost hunting tour, marvel at the remarkable 11th century cathedral or learn more at the National Waterways Museum.
