You’ll love being able to see the sea from the front of the house.. Ground Floor:

The Boat House offers room for four people and space to relax.
On the ground floor you’ll find the master bedroom, complete with shower/wet room and plenty of storage.
Upstairs is the second bedroom with twin single beds and space for the travel cot, and family bathroom.
The house benefits from plenty of natural light and modern plantation shutters to the windows and the second bedroom also has Velux windows and blackout blinds, along with free Wi-Fi. Although this charming property does not have its own garden space, four-legged friends are more than welcome.
There is a convenient verge just outside for short walks, with the beach nearby offering plenty of space for longer strolls and playtime.
You will find a folder within the property listing many local attractions, pubs and restaurants. Mersea Island benefits from some fantastic shops, tea rooms, restaurants and pubs as well as being famous for its seafood and brightly coloured beach huts.
Enjoy a drink or something to eat in one of the family friendly pubs and restaurants.
Mersea Island is great for anyone who wants a break beside the sea but there are lots of activities to keep you busy too - walking, cycling and sailing to name a few. The Boat House is an ideal location from which to explore Mersea Island. Cudmore Grove Country Park is situated a short distance away at East Mersea and is terrific for those who prefer green open spaces and quieter spots, why not take a picnic? Should you decide to travel, only 20 minutes away and you can find yourself in the historic city of of Colchester or Maldon, both worth a visit.
There are two beachside cafés, a park, a small shop (seasonal) and a bar serving food all within 5 minutes walk of the property.

Great place to stay. Everything you could want was there. Very close to the beach with pubs shops and restaurants all within 5 minutes drive.
Perhaps ideally there would be a little more to do and see but we had a relaxing stay.
Colchester zoo was great and markshall estate was a nice couple of hours stroll. The patients in the cafe are awesome.
All in all a good holiday
