Standing on a seven-acre smallholding in a lovely, rural location is this delightful, stone-built detached farmhouse, Tyn Llwyn.
Set on a wooded hillside, this charming Harlech holiday cottage provides a lovely self-catering accommodation for families and friends.
After a day of fell walking, kick off your walking boots and slump into the sofa, tuning into the TV whilst the crackle of the woodburner puts you at ease.
Move into the kitchen, where you can sit at the dining table and keep the designated chef company whilst they prepare a hearty-meal, assisted by the electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and there’s even a dishwasher to help washing up! There’s also a handy utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, so you can easily freshen up your wardrobe! On the first floor you’ll find a family bathroom and four bedrooms one with en-suite shower room and French doors leading into the wonderful garden area.
Make the most of the grounds, with plenty of space for the pooch and children to run, including a seating area with fire pit and along the edge there is a river that is perfect for dipping your toes in on a summer’s day. From the door there are plenty of walks and cycle trails into the hills, making it a real haven for any outdoor enthusiast.
A short journey away lies Harlech Castle, a medieval fortification built onto a rocky knoll close to the Irish Sea. Alternatively, spend an afternoon lounging on the Black Rock Sands, perfect for sunbathing and swimming.
Take the short drive to the Italianate village of Portmeirion, designed by Sir Clough Williams Ellis, or you can ride the little steam trains of the Ffestiniog Railway.
Further afield, roughly 50 mins drive away, is the scenic Snowdonia National Park, where you can enjoy adventure at Zip World Ffestiniog.

The living areas include a kitchen equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, utility with washing machine and tumble dryer, a sitting room with woodburning stove. The bedrooms include a double with en-suite shower, a double with day bed, and two singles, serviced by a bathroom and cloakroom. To the outside is a front gravelled garden with seating and firepit and off-road parking for four cars. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in rent. This property will accept one dog however smoking is not allowed. Within 3.5 miles there is a shop and within 2 miles there is a pub. Tyn Llwyn is a wonderful escape, whatever time of year. Please note, a fast-flowing river runs beside the cottage, children will always need supervising and dogs must be kept on lead when outside the garden area. The property does not provide towels and requests you bring your own.

Mooie plek, groot en comfortabel huis. Niet overal even schoon en de afvoergassen van de ketel waaien naar binnen als het raam van de slaapkamer erboven open staat.
