Enjoy a home-cooked meal, when you’re not exploring the local delicacies of the area, in the kitchen/diner, which is a spacious spot with a farmhouse feel.
On the first floor you can find an elegant double bedroom, and on the second-floor two more double bedrooms. The cottage is nestled in the pretty village of Uley, a short drive from the bustling market town of Stroud in the Gloucestershire countryside.
Set on the outside fringes of the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, there are a number of trails for walking and cycling opportunities to get involved with such as the Laurie Lee Wildlife Way and Stroudwater Canal Walk.
Close by is an art cafe, a local village shop, and a local pub serving delicious food, as well as the famous Uley Bury, a local village church, along the Cotswold walk way. Make sure you visit the nearby town of Stroud for its award-winning farmer’s market, considered to be one of the most popular in the UK. The Stroud district is home to a range of historic houses, such as the 12th century Berkeley Castle, the Elizabethan manor house of Chavenage House, and the Grade listed Frampton Court. There are a number of golf courses within driving distance for keen golfers, or for those just wanting a fun-filled afternoon, why not enjoy a boat trip at the Cotswold Canal Trust? Lovely little cottage. We really enjoyed our stay in Uley, very comfortable for the 4 of us, it would be a bit of a squeeze for 6 adults, and it would have been nice to have had a few more mirrors so the 4 of us didnt have to fight to use the bathroom mirror! but that is a minor detail.Would recommend.

A lovely Xmas week in Uley. The cottage was decorated with a tree etc and was cosy and welcoming. The facilities are first class and the area is scenic and rural but with a lively pub just down the road. Enjoyed the trip and area thoroughly.

Genuinely amazing! We were left bread and cake as well as an amazing place to stay. The cottage is homely and decorated so well in an amazing location. Whilst we stayed we got a takeaway from Bens (as recommended by the Nicola) and it was great! The coop isn’t far if you forget anything and the pub at the end of the road serves a great roast dinner. I hope to book again very soon!
