A lodge with a view, and Wow, what a view. A truly spectacular location on the shores of Lake Windermere and an amazing three bedroom holiday lodge with hot tub. Immaculately presented to accommodate up to 6 guests and a little one. Superb! One small well behaved dog welcome.

We stayed during a great week of sunshine. The tree shading the decking was invaluable as it meant we could sit outside and enjoy the view in the extreme heat. We found our hosts to be very responsive. There were a couple of maintenance issues but these did not affect our holiday.

The lodge is great, spacious and a great position, my only negative is that the power has been set low so it is a bit strange. My hairdryer wouldn't work but the lodge one did, the microwave takes forever, the hoover ran slow, hot tub jets weak, dishwasher intermittent. I don't know why but there must be a reason?

My family enjoyed our weekend at Footprints. \r\nAfter a slight issue with the hot tub on the first evening, everything was soon sorted out efficiently. We even witnessed a fly past by a Spitfire !! A comfortable , lodge in a great spot that always feels like home when we come here. This is our 6th visit to the lodge and is ideal for a late Summer/early Autumn break.
