Trewen is a contemporary and airy cottage with two bedrooms, capable of accommodating up to four people. It is located outside the Conwy town walls and is conveniently within walking distance of various establishments such as pubs, cafes, and shops. Its excellent location provides easy access to both the coastal and rural areas.
The coastal town boasts a magnificent medieval castle and offers leisurely walks along the quayside and marine areas. Llandudno, a resort town, and Snowdonia National Park, which provides numerous outdoor activities, are both a brief drive away. There's plenty to do in the region, including visiting castles and gardens, surfing, climbing, zip-lining, mountain biking, shopping, fine dining, and relaxing.
The semi-detached cottage has been completely renovated and now features two bedrooms - one with a double bed and the other with twin beds that can be joined together to form a superking size bed using a zip-link. The first floor also comprises of a bathroom, equipped with a bath and an overhead shower, toilet and washbasin facilities.
The ground floor of the cottage features a cosy lounge-diner, kitchen, and utility area. It comes equipped with various facilities such as a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, freezer, microwave, TV, and garden furniture in the fully enclosed back garden. The cottage also provides secure bike storage and Wi-Fi access via Superfast broadband is available throughout. The cottage offers roadside parking or there is a large car park opposite the cottage if needs be. One well-behaved dog is allowed at no extra cost as the cottage is dog-friendly.
The Conwy Valley is an intriguing area, very different to the rough, tough rocky mountains of neighbouring Snowdonia. The River Conwy flows through a broad, sheltered vale carpeted with rich farmland. It’s flanked on the west by thick forests and to the east by the heather moors and woods of Hiraethog (otherwise known as the Denbigh Moors), a huge expanse of unexplored upland. All in all, it’s an area of great variety, with tumbling falls, wooded gorges, mountain lakes, high moorland and a charming stretch of the North Wales coast. There’s also a great choice of places to stay – everything from traditional market towns and villages to seaside resorts.
