Buttercup Pod is one of six dog friendly lodges with hot tubs in the village of St Harmon near Rhayader, Mid Wales.
Spacious indoors and enclosed outdoor spaces make Buttercup Pod an easy and relaxing spot for a pet friendly family holiday in Wales. Buttercup Pod is also a great base for exploring the local public footpaths, villages and riverside walks.
The Gilfach Nature Reserve is a two mile walk from your door.
Meanwhile the drama of the Elan Valley awaits.

Absolutely loved my stay. Took the dogs on a little trip away to relax and unwind. Beautiful pod there was nothing not to like. Will definitely book again.

The cleanliness and location couldn’t be more perfect. Really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning. All the flower beds and surroundings were well
Maintained and overall it was everything we hoped for and more.
Not being able to check in before 4pm!!! And then check out at 10am!!!! You can check in earlier but it’s an extra £20ph… which I found disappointing. Basically all that tells me is the rooms were ready but they just want to squeeze more money out of you. Due to this I wouldn’t book again for one night as you are only paying for a 16hrs stay.

Our 2nd time at this location and another perfect stay. Gorgeous touch with christmas decorations and a bottle of prosecco for NYE. The location is becoming a firm favourite and no doubt we will be back for a 3rd time! Would highly recommend
