Meadowfield View is the perfect location in a small cul-de-sac of a larger estate, offering you the opportunity to be close to many top attractions, with a fabulous road network and only a few miles from Newcastle and the Metro Centre.
Just outside Crawcrook Village on the border of Northumberland and Tyneside, it’s a super place to use as a base while you explore the many visitor attractions, most within an hour from the property.
Only 6 miles from Gibside, a fabulous National Trust property with wonderful walks and home to some of the red kites spotted around the area.
The pretty Roman town of Corbridge is only 25 minutes by car, where you can see some of the Roman Forts along the wall.
The vibrant city of Newcastle is only 6 miles away; experience some real ‘Geordie’ hospitality whilst soaking in the atmosphere along the popular Grey Street oozing character, with the Theatre Royal and a wonderful selection of bars and restaurants for all ages.
The iconic Quayside is a must; take a selfie under the famous Tyne Bridge for a lasting memory.
The Metro Centre is ideal for shoppers, or whilst ‘your other half’ is off to watch a football match at St James Park (6 miles). Tynemouth and Whitley Bay make a lovely change with a wonderful long flat promenade to stroll along with plenty of bespoke bars and cafés to keep everyone happy.

I found the bungalow was a superb location for a quiet week. Although I did not do much for my stay as I was using it to prepare for an academic assessment, it would have fitted in well with my original plan to have done lots of walking. The cottage has been well thought out, the kitchen is well stocked and really clean. I hope to come back again and explore some of the local walks.

We had a wonderful stay at Meadowfield View. The property is situated on a peaceful street with beautiful views in the front and a private garden in the back. Check-in was seamless, and communication with the owner was outstanding. The property was spotless upon arrival, well-maintained, and fully equipped. Overall, we had an excellent experience and would highly recommend it.

As mature guests we would have preferred a walk-in shower to a bath. A handrail to get into the bath would have been helpful. The location was excellent for sightseeing and the property was value for money.
