This traditional market town is full of great things to discover.
If you like culture check out the Theatre by The Lake with award-winning arts and drama on the banks of Derwentwater, where you can hire a rowing boat or even take a dip if you need to cool down.
For fun you could try Puzzling Place, a mind-boggling attraction based on optical illusions or the Derwent Pencil Museum, home to the largest pencil in the world.
Or if you want a wild day out, try The Lake District Wildlife Park at Bassenthwaite, 8 miles, or The Lakes Distillery offering daily tasting and tours, also 8 miles.

Situated in the heart of Keswick nearby to all the amenities a very well maintained and clean cottage and a most welcome little gift pack which was much appreciated. We enjoyed the cottage and the surrounding area with many walks on the doorstep. Overall a great stay.

Cottage was small but perfect for a small family getaway. Host was very helpful and responded to questions and queries very quickly. Location is literally a 2 minute walk from town centre and ideally located.

This cottage was really cosy for 2 of us. We didn't use the second bedroom so we stayed on the ground floor for the trip.
The cottage felt secure and there was no outdoor noise.
Parking was absolutely fine but we did go off season.
