Your vacation apartment is located on Lake Edersee (Hesse) and is situated directly on the lakeshore with its own terrace and a limited side view of the lake. The apartment is similar to a terraced house and has a separate entrance. It also has its own underground parking space. There are restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Shopping facilities can be reached by car. Please bring your own bed linen and towels. Situated on the Scheid peninsula, the vacation apartment offers you an ideal starting point to get to know the Kellerwald-Edersee region. The many possibilities on the water and tours by bike, motorcycle and on foot allow you to explore the lake and its beautiful surroundings. The Kellerwald-Edersee and the primeval forest trail (UNESCO cultural heritage) offer you a unique natural environment that invites you to go hiking. The Edersee is the second largest reservoir in Germany in terms of area and the third largest in terms of volume. The Eder dam, a 48 m high dam wall, is beautiful to look at during the day and at night. The evening illuminations are a must-see. The passenger boat service allows you to enjoy the lake from the water. There is a wide range of activities for water sports enthusiasts and sun worshippers can enjoy the sun on the large sunbathing lawn on the peninsula. A small passenger and bicycle ferry can be used for the crossing from Scheid and offers further views and restaurant visits. Waldeck Castle, the nearby summer toboggan run and the corn maze are popular excursion destinations. A trip to Bad Arolsen, with its baroque town layout, is highly recommended. In addition to the many listed buildings, the residence palace there is captivating with its charm. A visit to the town's thermal baths can offer relaxation and a chance to slow down. There are also three medieval towns around the Edersee: Korbach, Frankenberg and Bad Wildungen. In Korbach, you can follow the "gold trail" of the "medieval" roots and perhaps end your visit with a look at the glass roof of the Korbach Museum, which puts the exhibits in a particularly good light. You will find shopping and strolling opportunities in the towns mentioned as well as restaurants to round off your stay.

arrival and departure rule
After full payment you will receive your personalized code for the key safe one week before arrival. You can take the keys from this code from 14:00 on the day of arrival and please return them to the safe by 10:00 on the day of departure. The apartment must be left swept clean and free of garbage. The final cleaning takes place from 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure.

How to get there
Die Adresse der Unterkunft wird von den Navigationssystemen unterstützt. Die Zufahrt zur Tiefgarage befindet sich in der unmittelbaren Nähe des Restaurant MUN und erfolgt über den Hof des Yachthofes. Ihr Schlüssel ermöglicht Ihnen die Öffnung des Rolltores. Bitte treten Sie bei Fragen mit Ihrer Vermieterin in Kontakt. Umgekehrt meldet sich diese bzgl. der Überweisungsdaten und, nach vollständiger Bezahlung, mit dem Code für Ihren Schlüssel.

Description of the accommodation
Ihre Unterkunft verfügt über 60qm und zwei Etagen. Im Erdgeschoss befinden sich Gäste-WC, Windfang, Küche- und Essbereich mit offenem angrenzenden Wohnzimmer, Bad mit WC/Dusche. Das Wohnzimmer bietet den Zugang zur Terrasse (ca. 20 qm). Im Obergeschoss gibt es eine offene Galerie mit zwei vollwertigen Betten und ein Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett. Zusätzlich finden Sie ein mobiles Kinderreisebett (Deponiert auf der Galerie). Die Möblierung in der Ferienwohnung ist komplett neu. Die Küche ist ausgestattet mit: Spülmaschine, Herd/Backofen, Kühlgefrierkombination, Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher, Toaster und Eierkocher, sowie Standardausstattung (Geschirr, Töpfe/Pfanne, Besteck). Nichtraucherwohnung. Keine Tiere. Bettwäsche/Handtücher sind mitzubringen.
