Our private and secret retreat, tucked away at the foot of the spectacular Loiba cliffs, is perfect for a couple who want to lose themselves in one of the most beautiful places in Europe! Walk to beaches, endless trails, and surrounded by wild nature.
We rent the independent guesthouse portion of the private land next to the beautiful Loiba cliffs (not the main house).
The house is a separate part of the private GlassHouse estate. The design is loft-style, an open and bright space, but with a sliding door that separates the living room and kitchen. A wood-burning fireplace allows you to enjoy the cooler evenings and provides a warm accompaniment. The kitchen is fully equipped for enjoying hearty breakfasts, intimate meals at home, or romantic dinners. When the weather permits, there is a small table and chairs for sitting on the terrace.
We rented the separate guesthouse portion of the private land next to the beautiful Loiba cliffs (not the main house).
The house was designed to accommodate friends and guests, so every detail was attended to with personal touches. Everyone who came never wanted to leave! Our guesthouse is a separate part of the private estate from the main house. Guests not only enjoy the guesthouse's more private garden, but also the entire farm.
Just 80 meters from the famous and spectacular Loiba cliffs lies a still little-known, wild, and unspoiled corner of the world. A PR (small path) or social trail can be taken 50 meters from the house, extending along the coast, north or south. 70 meters from the house is the magnificent Fabega Beach, accessed by a path. At low tide, you can walk from Fabega Beach to Carro Beach, a beautiful promenade offering three beaches with very different atmospheres. From your house, you can also walk to Picón (along the PR), where in the summer there is a very authentic beach bar that, when open, offers goose barnacles or local details such as a free tapa with a drink. 50 meters further on is the beautiful Picón Beach. For the more active and adventurous, you can follow the PR along the coast, a spectacular walk with unique views, to Esteiro Beach, a beach known for its southern charm! Stas is also ideal for families with children, as it flows into the Esteiro estuary and is an ideal place for swimming due to the very low water level. There is also a beach bar where you can eat good local food. The PR can also be taken in the opposite direction towards Mazorgan, Celtigos Beach, and Espasante, another very beautiful walk. We offer rental bicycles for those who want to explore! We were also doing these tours.
It is possible to stay here without a car for those who just want to enjoy the surrounding area, as the FEVE station is 500 meters away, the bus station is 700 meters away, and a small supermarket is 400 meters away that has everything. In town, there are several bars and a restaurant, El Galen, where you can taste the best seafood and fish from the Galician estuaries, as well as the best typical Galician dishes. We have bicycles available.
The area offers many activities, both sporting and leisurely, from hiking, horseback riding, kayaking, quad biking, surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, and numerous spectacular beaches (Playa de Espasante, Celtigos, Sarridal, Playa del Carro, Fabega, Picón, Esteiro, Vilela, Vares, Kaolin, Xilloi, Abrela... and more!). The best way to get around the area depends on what guests want to do. From the house, you can walk to at least five different beaches, and 400 meters away, there is a small shop where you can buy everything. There are also several bars and cafes less than 1 km from the house.
