This holiday home is suitable for four people and is located in the village of Wanneperveen, near Giethoorn. This holiday home is the perfect base to discover the beautiful surroundings. It is located in the National Park Weerribben-Wieden. In this nature reserve you will find the largest continuous low moorland swamp area of Northwest Europe. It is a labyrinth of various lakes, ponds, ditches, reed beds and hay meadows. Various plant and animal species can be found there. This area is perfect for cycling and walking enthusiasts. Or visit Giethoorn to sail through the canals in a (rental) boat. On the other hand, the moors and dolmens near Havelte are also great locations to explore on foot or by bike. The towns of Blokzijl, Vollenhove and Meppel are definitely worth a visit.

Layout
Through the private entrance door, you enter a spacious hall, equipped with a coat rack and wardrobe. The living room has a pleasant seating area with smart TV with streaming function. The kitchen includes a hob, microwave, fridge, kettle and a filter coffee machine, Nespresso machine and milk frother. There is one bedroom with a double box-spring bed (160x200) and one bedroom with bunk beds. The bathroom has a shower and a sink. There is a separate toilet in the hall. Through the French doors in the living room you have access to the spacious garden with a furnished terrace. From here you have beautiful views over the countryside. There is ample parking at the holiday home.

Surroundings
The town of Wanneperveen is located in the middle of National Park De Weerribben-Wieden. This beautiful nature reserve originated in the time when peat cutters reclaimed the peat in strips. Where the peat disappeared, water took its place, creating the beautiful lakes and ditches of today. Nowadays you can enjoy boating and swimming here. The area is characterized by varied flora and fauna and is excellent for water sports enthusiasts, fishermen and nature lovers. In the vicinity you can enjoy beautiful cycling and walking routes through nature, but also to nearby picturesque villages such as Giethoorn, Dwarsgracht and Blokzijl.
