Ihren Namen, La Casa del Capitano, verdankt sie dem Vater des heutigen Eigentümers – ein passionierter Angler, der die Zimmer einst als Rückzugsort für sein liebstes Hobby nutzte. Und so zieren noch heute seine Sammelstücke und Teile seines Equipments die Räume der Wohnung.

The ca. 100 m² roof terrace with a terrific view across the sea as far as Salerno is the centerpiece of this holiday apartment near Cetara. La Casa del Capitano owes its name to the present owner’s father – a passionate angler, who once used the rooms as a retreat when pursuing his favorite hobby. Several of his collectibles and parts of his equipment still adorn the apartment today.

REFUGIUM FÜR 2 PERSONEN MIT GROSSER DACHTERRASSE
Die Casa del Capitano ist geeignet für den lang ersehnten Paarurlaub an der Amalfiküste. Sie befindet sich strategisch günstig für (kulturelle) Unternehmungen entlang der Küste, nach Salerno, nach Pompeji oder Paestum. Kulinarisch kommt man als Gast hier ebenso auf seine Kosten, denn aus Cetara stammt die berühmte "Colatura" – das Salz der Antike.

Obwohl die Wohnung im Vergleich zu ihrer Terrasse vergleichsweise klein erscheint, muss man als Gast jedoch auf nichts verzichten. So stehen hier Schlafzimmer, Bad mit Duschkabine, WC und Bidet sowie ein kleiner Wohnraum mit Mini-Kochnische zur Verfügung (Kühlschrank, elektrisches Kochfeld, Töpfe, etwas Geschirr und Besteck, Kaffeekocher, Öl, Salz, Zucker). Die Wohnung ist zudem klimatisiert.

In dem Haus, in dem sich neben der Casa del Capitano auch die beiden Ferienwohnungen Casa Aliberti und Casetta Mauro befinden, steht den Gästen ein Fahrstuhl sowie ein kostenfreier Parkplatz an der wenig befahrenen Anliegerstraße unterhalb des vollständig umzäunten Grundstücks zur Verfügung. Zum Be- und Entladen des Gepäcks fährt man bis zum Hauseingang, zu dem eine steile Auffahrt führt.

DER SCHÖNSTE BLICK AUF DEN GOLF VON SALERNO
Die Dachterrasse, die einen spektakulären Blick auf den Golf von Salerno und Vietri Sul Mare preisgibt, ist wie ein zweites Wohnzimmer im Freien. Für die Gäste stehen Tisch, Stühle, Sonnenliegen und Sonnenstühle sowie ein Sonnenschirm zur Verfügung. So kann man hier Sonne tanken, entspannen und ganz für sich allein, eine der schönsten Küsten der Welt genießen.

ZWISCHEN CETARA UND VIETRI SUL MARE
Die Wohnung befindet sich ca. 3 km von Cetara und ca. 4 km von Vietri sul Mare entfernt. Unweit des Grundstücks, an der Straße, gibt es eine Bushaltestelle. Von Cetara aus fahren die Busse bis nach Salerno bzw. bis nach Amalfi. Gegen eine Gebühr von 3 Euro/Person wird außerdem ein Shuttleservice von oder nach Cetara angeboten.

Sowohl in Cetara als auch in Vietri sul Mare findet man Lebensmittelgeschäfte sowie empfehlenswerte Restaurants, Bars und Cafés.

A REFUGE FOR TWO WITH LARGE ROOF TERRACE
Casa del Capitano might be the perfect accommodation for a couple’s holidays on the Amalfi Coast. It is conveniently located for (cultural) excursions along the coast, to Salerno, Pompeii or Paestum. Mention should be made also of a culinary specialty from Cetara: the famous "colatura", the salt of antiquity.

The apartment might appear small compared to its terrace, but as a guest you will find most of what you need: a bedroom, a bathroom (shower/WC/bidet), a small living room with mini kitchen nook (refrigerator, two plate electric cooker, pots, some dishes and cutlery, moka pot, oil, salt, sugar). The apartment features air conditioning, WiFi and TV.

Apart from La Casa del Capitano on the 2nd floor, holiday apartments Casa Aliberti (1st floor) and Casetta Mauro (ground floor) are also located in the 3-storey house, which has got an elevator you can use. A free-of-charge parking space is at your disposal on the hardly frequented residential road below the completely fenced property. To load and unload your luggage, you can of course pull up to the house, but the drive is steep.

THE MOST BEAUTIFUL VIEW OF THE GULF OF SALERNO
The roof terrace opens upon a spectacular view of the Gulf of Salerno and Vietri sul Mare. It is like a living room out in the open, a perfect spot to soak up the sun, to relax and to enjoy one of the world’s most beautiful coasts 'alone'. The terrace is furnished with a table and chairs, sun loungers and sun chairs as well as a sunshade.

BETWEEN CETARA AND VIETRI SUL MARE
La Casa del Capitano is ca. 3 km from Cetara and ca. 4 km from Vietri sul Mare. There’s a bus stop on the road not far from the property. From Cetara, busses depart for Salerno as well as for Amalfi. For ca. € 3 /person, you can use a shuttle service to or from Cetara.

Grocery stores as well as recommendable restaurants, bars and cafés are found both at Cetara and at Vietri sul Mare.
