In a sunny location, close to the forest, on Het Reestdal estate, you will find this very attractive holiday home.
Enjoying nature and peace and quiet is central here.
No excessive activities, but lovely and cosy. This holiday home is thatched and has a nostalgic farmhouse style.
On the ground floor there is a spacious living room with sofa and pellet heater, an open kitchen with fridge, hob and filter coffee maker, a bathroom with sink and shower, a toilet and a spacious double bedroom.
Upstairs is a second bedroom with two single beds.
The house has a spacious garden with a terrace. Particularities • The minimum age of the main booker for this holiday home is 18 years. • Vanaf 16-03-2026 tot en met 30-03-2026: - The pellet stove is temporarily out of service. Park facilities Surroundings IJhorst is a village in the municipality of Staphorst, where the stork is a familiar sight.
The Ooievaarscentrum De Lokkerij was established in 1981 on the initiative of the Nature Conservancy to bring the stork back to the Dutch landscape.
With results: the number of breeding pairs is still increasing! De Lokkerij is open for visits during the summer months, definitely worth a visit.
The surroundings are easy to explore by bike or on foot: you will discover the Reest valley, the Zwarte Dennen or the Staphorst forestry.
Surrounding towns such as Zwolle, Meppel, Hoogeveen and Steenwijk are also recommended: here you can enjoy a terrace, a museum, the many shops or a cosy restaurant.

We werden vriendelijk ontvangen met koffie. Verder was het huisje precies als omschreven. We hebben heerlijk genoten van alle rust die er heerst op het kleinschalige park. Ondanks dat het weer wat tegen viel hebben we ons heerlijk vermaakt.

Bij aankomst een warm welkom.
De koffie stond al klaar met heerlijke koek. Bedden waren al opgemaakt zonder dat wij er om gevraagd hadden👍.
Was een heerlijk weekje met veel fiets plezier en bij het huisje heerlijk rustig.
Heerlijke week.

Een mooie omgeving.
Zeker om te wandelen en te fietsen.
Wij hadden dit park gekozen voor de rust na een drukke periode en die hebben zeker gekregen.
Al met al we hebben genoten!
