Boasting a grand canopied portico and rich period features, this historic home with links to Josiah Wedgwood offers off-road parking and welcomes pets, making it perfect for families or friends.
As you approach the house, you are greeted by a sweeping gravel driveway, beautifully framed by a lush border of copper beech, laurel, rhododendron, and mature trees.
Upon entering, your gaze is immediately drawn to the elegant staircase, which serves as the centerpiece of the triple-height, galleried reception hall.
Enter into the spacious kitchen, fully equipped for all your culinary needs.
Adjacent to this, you will find a handy utility room, complete with a WC, washing machine, and tumble dryer to ensure a hassle-free stay.
For casual dining, enjoy meals at the kitchen table, while special occasions can be celebrated in the grand dining room, which comfortably seats up to ten guests and serves as the perfect backdrop for memorable gatherings.

Parkfields House consists of a kitchen/diner with a dining table for 10, gas-fired Aga, oven, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, a utility room with a WC, washing machine, and tumble dryer, and a dining room with seating for 10. There is a conservatory, a sitting room with a fireplace, and TV, and a snug with a TV and gas fire. A cloakroom with a WC and basin completes the ground floor. The bedrooms include two king-size rooms with en-suites, a double room, and two twin rooms with basins. There is a bathroom with a bath, shower over, basin, and a separate WC. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are included in the rent. Outside, there is an enclosed rear garden with a lawn, gravelled area, furniture, a heated swimming pool with a retractable roof, a tennis court, and off-road parking for four cars. Two well-behaved pets are welcome. Smoking is not allowed. Shop and pub in 0.4 miles. Whatever the weather, a wonderful stay awaits at Parkfields House.
