The characteristic village of Carloforte is the only inhabited town of San Pietro, an island in the small archipelago of Sulcis. The beaches near the town of Carloforte are the most famous on the island and very different from each other: some sandy, others strewn with pebbles, others still rocky. The nearest beach to the center of Carloforte is Il Giunco, another beach near the center is Guidi, a fine sand beach alternating with dark rocks. For those who love the mixed beaches of sand and gravel the recommended beach is Girin Beach.

The island of San Pietro is not very big and you can drive around in a day. It is therefore easy to reach each of its beaches from Carloforte. Along the western coast of the island we find La Caletta beach and Conca beach, while along the southern coast to visit the Chinolle beach, the Lucchese beach, La Bobba beach and Guidi beach. Other beaches not to be missed in the surroundings of Carloforte are: Punta Nera, Golfo del Becco, Calavinagra and Golfo della Mezzaluna (the latter only accessible by sea). If you love diving, don’t miss: Punta de las Ganses and Nasca are two caves in the north of the island ideal for divers.

- From Cagliari Elmas Airport "Mario Mameli": you can reach the apartment thanks to the CFCA A/R Shuttle transport to be booked by phone, about 20 euros each way. The property is only a 5-minute walk from the port of Carloforte.


- DELCOMAR ferries depart from Portovesme and Calasetta, which take 40 and 30 minutes to reach the island of Carloforte; from Portovesme the departures of the ferries for Carloforte are only diurnal and preview the boarding of the vehicles while from Calasetta the service is both day and night. The port of Carloforte is only a 5-minute walk from the property.


- If you are travelling by car, you can park for free (NOT GUARANTEED) on the street near the property, or you can park on the street for a fee (blue stripes).
