It has everything you could need inside the house and an added bonus that I could bring my sweet little dog.
In its own private grounds, it is very peaceful and relaxing with beautiful views, walks and food nearby (but you would need a car).
Kilbrittain village is cute with a lovely park and woodland walk.
Timoleague nearby is beautifully picturesque with lovely walks, a lovely historical Abbey, a petrol station with well stocked shop, pubs, restaurant, chemist etc.
Courtmacsherry, 4km from Timoleague is a stunning drive along the edge of the sea with boats bobbing here and there.
The Courtmacsherry Hotel serves delicious food and has beautiful grounds.
There is also a gorgeous coffee shop in Courtmacsherry called the Golden Pheasant and two other lovely restaurants along the main street.
I could go on about the beauty of West Cork but you just have to go and visit it for yourself 😉👍🏻.

Fridge door would not close, small freezer box no good, we brought frozen food and could not get frozen food in the freezer box we had to throw it out the food. it was packed with ice, the cottage needs a fridge Freezer. First day on arrival house was damp, towels were damp,beds were damp. It was just me and my wife.

Travelnest are hopeless. I sent 4 messages without response. Fortunately I managed to contact the owner Myles who was very helpful and shocked to hear how travelnest are not doing their job. Die Unterkunft war toll. Wir haben es schnell gefunden, allerdings im Dunklen nicht mehr gesehen, dass es wirklich nur ca. 50 Meter bis zum Meer sind. Davon wurden wir am nächsten Tag positiv überrascht. Auch wenn die verwaltende Firma nicht vor Ort ist, so stehen doch viele Nachbarn hilfreich zur Verfügung. Es hat uns sehr gefallen.
