Falling Stars Home – For True Sea Lovers Only
Falling Stars Home isn’t for those looking for luxury. It’s a simple, no-frills retreat with a breathtaking view: the sea lies less than five meters from your doorstep, constantly shifting with the rhythm of the tides.
Located in Rosignano Marittimo, in the province of Livorno, this ground-floor apartment sits on a rocky cliff where salt and wind fill the air. Nature sets the pace here, and you feel it even inside the house: the marine humidity is a constant companion, as expected in a home built on sea rock. A cooler/dehumidifier is available to help maintain a minimum level of comfort.
The apartment is intentionally basic, ideal for couples or small groups (maximum 3 guests) who travel light and appreciate an essential lifestyle — much like those used to life on the road or at sea. The sleeping area includes a 120 cm French bed and a single pull-out sofa bed. The kitchenette is equipped with the basics you need to prepare your meals. There’s no air conditioning, but the sea breeze keeps the nights fresh.
Outdoors, you’ll find a private garden with a barbecue and sun loungers — the perfect place for open-air dinners and long, lazy afternoons.
A stone-carved staircase leads directly down to a small, wild cove known as Spiaggia della Poseidonia , where the rare caretta caretta turtles often come to nest. For this reason, we do not provide beach umbrellas or any gear that could disturb this delicate ecosystem: here, respect for nature comes first .
The house is non-smoking. Small pets are welcome, with an extra one-time cleaning fee.
