Switching on and off air conditioning and heating is subject to compliance with current Italian legislation (DPR 16/04/2013 n.74, DM 6/10/2022 n.383).

Summer: the average air temperature must not get below 26°C (78,8 °F) for all kinds of buildings.

Winter: the weighted average of the air temperatures must not exceed 19°C (66,2 °F). Time and period of operation depend on the climatic zone defined by the standard.

Pizzolungo is ideally located to explore some of the most evocative wonders of western Sicily. Just over 10 km away is the medieval village of Erice, with its historic center, the Castle of Venus and spectacular views of the sea. For a boat trip to the islands of Favignana, Levanzo or Marettimo, it is possible to reach the embarkation point at the port of Trapani in about 15 minutes. An hour's drive away is the Riserva Naturale dello Zingaro, perfect for lovers of trekking and pristine sea. Finally, about 40 km away, the Archaeological Park of Segesta offers a fascinating journey through time with its Doric temple and Greek theater immersed in nature.
