Comfortable apartment of about 50 sqm, able to accommodate up to 4 people, located on the first floor of a period building without a lift.
The property is located in Portovenere, an enchanting seaside town in Liguria in the province of La Spezia.
The area is well served and allows you to easily reach all the main attractions of the village on foot. The accommodation offers a splendid view of the sea and the marina and consists of a living room, a bedroom and a bathroom. FURTHER SERVICES AVAILABLE TO GUESTS: unlimited wifi, air conditioning (air conditioning in the living room), independent heating, washing machine (in the bathroom), iron and ironing board, clothes horse and hairdryer. PLEASE NOTE: - The building does NOT have a lift: there will therefore be some stairs to climb. - Please pay attention to the step before entering the living ro 7 days before arrival you will receive instructions to register your documents through our Guest Portal and to pay the City Tax. This procedure is used to verify your data and documents and to send the information to the police service "Alloggiati Web" which is the Italian procedure for accommodating guests in Italy. Listed among the UNESCO sites together with the Cinque Terre, it is an ideal destination for those seeking breathtaking landscapes, history and authenticity, far from mass tourism. Among the main attractions are the majestic Doria Castle, which dominates the promontory with a spectacular view, and the suggestive Church of San Pietro, built on a rocky spur overlooking the sea. Also worth a visit are the Romanesque Church of San Lorenzo, the picturesque Palazzata a Mare with its colorful houses overlooking the port, and Byron's Cave, dedicated to the English poet who loved swimming here.
Opposite the village is Palmaria Island, perfect for nature excursions and quiet coves. The property overlooks the sea, ensuring a privileged and particularly convenient position to fully experience the atmosphere of the village and reach everything on foot. Portovenere is easily reachable from La Spezia by car, bus or ferry (especially in summer), even if it does not have a train station.
The historic center offers authentic views among alleys, shops and restaurants. - From La Spezia Station you can reach the house in about 25 minutes by taxi; alternatively, you can take bus line 6 to Porta Sprugola and line 11 to Portovenere Capolinea, continuing on foot for 5 minutes. - From Pisa Airport you need to reach Pisa station with a shuttle and from there take a train to La Spezia station; then continue as indicated above. - If you travel by car, parking is not included; it is possible to park (for a fee) in the surroundings of the property.

We really enjoyed our stay. The accommodation was exactly what we were looking for and we were impressed by the location: opposite excellent restaurants, a wonderful street to explore and a beautiful view of the harbour (only a staircase away from swimming in the sea).

Amazing location with beautiful view! Comfortable bed, lots of space for two people. Nice little kitchen, and there was a washing machine which was useful.
A fan or air-con in the bedroom would have been a bonus. Also some towels for the kitchen and a sponge/brush to clean dishes would have been useful.

De locatie is echt formidabel. Met uitzicht over de baai. De communicatie was goed maar wel wat onpersoonlijk. We hadden het gevoel met een computer te communiceren, wat geen probleem is zolang er geen problemen zijn.
