Portovenere is a charming seaside village in Liguria, located about 13 km from La Spezia, on the coast of the Gulf of Poets. Listed among the UNESCO sites together with the Cinque Terre, it is an ideal destination for those seeking breathtaking landscapes, history and authenticity, far from mass tourism.

Among the main attractions are the majestic Doria Castle, which dominates the promontory with a spectacular view, and the suggestive Church of San Pietro, built on a rocky spur overlooking the sea. Also worth a visit are the Romanesque Church of San Lorenzo, the picturesque Palazzata a Mare with its colorful houses overlooking the port, and Byron's Cave, dedicated to the English poet who loved swimming here. Opposite the village is Palmaria Island, perfect for nature excursions and quiet coves.

The property overlooks the sea, ensuring a privileged and particularly convenient position to fully experience the atmosphere of the village and reach everything on foot.

Portovenere is easily reachable from La Spezia by car, bus or ferry (especially in summer), even if it does not have a train station. The historic center offers authentic views among alleys, shops and restaurants.


- From La Spezia Station you can reach the house in about 25 minutes by taxi; alternatively, you can take bus line 6 to Porta Sprugola and line 11 to Portovenere Capolinea, continuing on foot for 5 minutes.


- From Pisa Airport you need to reach Pisa station with a shuttle and from there take a train to La Spezia station; then continue as indicated above.


- If you travel by car, parking is not included; it is possible to park (for a fee) in the surroundings of the property.
