Callow Cottage is an agreeable retreat situated in the heart of the Shropshire Hills National Landscape, in the quaint hamlet of Dinchope.
With off-road parking for two cars, a toasty woodburning stove, private patio, access to a seasonal swimming pool and welcoming one well-behaved dog, this rustic abode is perfect for families or friends seeking a serene countryside escape.
Upon entering Callow Cottage, you are greeted by the conservatory, a calm space where you can enjoy a morning coffee whilst admiring the rockery in the front garden.
The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need to prepare your favourite dishes, crank up the heat on the gas hobs, with a dishwasher is available to take care of any mess left behind.
An inviting living/dining room boasts a woodburning stove set within an exposed brick fireplace, perfect for those chillier evenings.
Sink into the sofa and chairs and enjoy a film on the TV, or gather around the dining table, with wooden beams overhead, seating four guests, for a home-cooked meal.
When you're ready to retire for the evening, find two double bedrooms waiting for you, one of which benefits from built-in wardrobe space for your belongings.
Both rooms are neatly decorated, ensuring a rejuvenating night's sleep.

Callow Cottage is a house consisting of a kitchen and utility with gas oven and hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, and dishwasher, a living/dining room with woodburning stove and TV, and seating for four guests, and a conservatory. The bedrooms consist of two doubles serviced by a shower room. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are included in the rent. Outside, there is off-road parking for 2 cars, a private garden with furniture, and use of the owners garden which has a swimming pool (open April-September inclusive), koi pond and orchard. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Within 1.6 miles you will find a shop, 1.8 miles a pub, and 1.5 miles a river. All of this awaits at Callow Cottage. Note: Due to the gardens being shared, please ensure dogs are friendly. Note: This property does not accept children under the age of 5. Note: There is a wired-off koi pond nearby, please ensure children are supervised at all times. Note: There is 3 night minimum for bookings. Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping Bond of 300GHB

An exceptional property, off-grid and remote, with wonderful views, Callow Cottage is ideally situated for an exploration of the Shropshire Hills. Wonderfully equipped, this property even has a swimming pool within the grounds. There cannot be many other places in the region which offer such amazing dark skies for star-gazing.

Callow cottage was clean, well appointed and a haven of peace and quiet. Everything we needed was provided and the host was very helpful making recommendations for pubs, restaurants etc. The views were amazing from every window. I would recommend this cottage and we will certainly be back to revisit soon. Hilary and Roly
