Old Town Cottage, a recently refurbished one bedroom property is located in the quiet residential area of Stratford upon Avon’s Old Town.
It has a small front garden, off road parking and a garage for bike storage.
With the added comfort of a wood burning stove and the convenience of being dog friendly, this well equipped cottage is an ideal base for those looking to explore Stratford’s history, connection to William Shakespeare and the lovely surrounding Warwickshire countryside.
Thoughtfully designed for one or two adults, the cottage offers contemporary living with a well equipped kitchen/diner and a sitting room which features a log burner, comfy sofa and footstool - the perfect spot to unwind after a day out. Upstairs, the cosy bedroom has a king size bed and is decorated in calm, neutral colours while the adjacent dressing room/office offers a quiet space for catching up on emails and planning your itinerary for the day ahead as well as storing clothes and baggage.
The modern bathroom has a large walk in shower.
Outside, the enclosed rear garden with patio and furniture is a pleasant setting for al fresco dining and is ideal if you’re bringing your dog. Strolling out of the cottage through the quiet streets of Old Town leads you to Stratford’s main attractions within 15 minutes - the RSC, the River Avon, Holy Trinity Church and Shakespeare’s Birthplace as well as a variety of cafes, restaurants, bistros, pubs, shops and the Everyman cinema.
All the main supermarkets and many other facilities are within easy reach and the nearby Greenway is ideal for dog walking, cycling and hiking.
Popular activities include a river cruise or bus tour, a visit to Anne Hathaway’s Cottage or a drive into the Cotswolds or to Warwick Castle.

Old Town Cottage consists of a kitchen with an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine, dishwasher, a dining area, and a sitting area with Smart TV and woodburning stove. The bedroom consists of a king-size, along with a shower room. Outside, there is a non-enclosed front garden with lawn, an enclosed, rear, south facing garden with patio, gravel, and furniture, as well as off-road parking for one car. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 0.3 miles. WiFi, fuel, power, starter pack for woodburning stove, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Old Town Cottage makes a splendid retreat for a romantic getaway to Warwickshire. Note: There is a step up to the property, please take care. Note: Dogs allowed downstairs only.
