It is a comfortable and cosy house of our accommodation "Casería María Sopeña" located in Pruneda, a small village in the municipality of Nava and within the region of La Sidra. On the first floor there is a porch, garden, barbecue and various furniture; living-dining room with fireplace and TV; fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom; on the first floor there is a large bedroom with a 150cm bed, another with two 105cm beds and a bathroom; a pleasant garden with swimming pool, private parking and laundry room complete the interior decoration. The house has information about the area, establishments (restaurants, cider houses, cider presses, etc.) and other places where you can buy local products, all of which are in abundance. And for the hottest days, there is a wonderful swimming pool. In autumn and winter, the living room with fireplace becomes the ideal place for a romantic dinner, or to spend some time reading by the warmth of the fire. Most of the furniture and accessories have been restored by the owner. Nava (3 kms) has an interesting Cider Museum dedicated to the production of cider. Also in Nava you will find shops, supermarkets, banks, chemists, health centre, police station, petrol station, train station and bus stop, cafés, restaurants, cider houses, etc. Saturday is the day of the local market "A PLACE TO ENJOY THE CHARM OF THE COUNTRYSIDE A FEW MINUTES FROM THE BEACHES". At any time of the year you can find something interesting to do or visit, apart from enjoying the silence and nature or tasting the local gastronomy. There are signposted routes and countless other paths to enjoy the beauty of the area.In addition to the activities that you can do individually, there are also some proposals based on the interpretation of the landscape of different duration and content, always accompanied by a professional guide and with the possibility of including meals and transport: Guided tour in the Cider Region;Interesting visits to the historical-artistic natural heritage in the land that saw the birth of "El Camino de Santiago";Peripheral tour to the Picos de Europa; Coastal formations and human activities in the Asturian sea; Oviedo and Gijón: one region, two realities; Visit to the Natural Park of Redes. Horse riding, cycle touring, canoeing, mountain routes, golf, fishing, hunting, water sports, etc. In this corner of Asturias everything is possible: relax, have fun, enjoy the delicacies of the land and, above all... forget about the world!
