This terrific 2 bedroom, 1 bath upper apartment of a duplex has upgraded flooring, kitchen and bathrooms.
Near one of Newport's best surfing beaches and just steps to the sand.
The perfect beach house for a family vacation.
Only 4 houses from the sand.
It has been professionally decorated and fully furnished with everything you need for your home away from home. Entering the front Dutch door, you step into the living room with vaulted ceilings, living area and a flat screen TV. Heading toward the front of the property, you will find a sliding door leading to a patio with a bbq, table, chairs and umbrella. Stepping back in the property there is a quaint dining table just off of the all-white, newly remodeled kitchen.
Stacked laundry unit is just off the living room, a convenience not always found in beach homes. 2 bedrooms each with queen beds and 1 full bathroom in the hall way. No sleeper sofa. 1 parking spot in a shared garage with the front lower unit.
The garage is very small and tight.
COMPACT CARS ONLY, larger cars will have to find street parking.
Only 2 small cars will fit and even then it will be a tight fit. Additional free parking be found on the surrounding neighborhood streets but can be challenging sometimes at the beach. As our guest, enjoy complimentary local experiences curated to help you make the most of Newport Beach.
Activity offerings are seasonal and may include whale watching, harbor cruises, E-BIKE rentals, kayaks & paddle boards, and electric boat rentals. Other Important Details: - Thanks to our cool coastal breeze, most Newport Beach homes do not have air conditioning (AC). Every home comes with fans so you can open the windows and enjoy the beach air like a local.
If AC is important to you, please double check if it is listed as an amenity. - Parking is provided at your rental unit.
However, we cannot guarantee your vehicle will fit in the designated spot, so you may need to find street parking.
Street parking can be impacted due to proximity to the beach. - We do our best to stay on top of any remodels or construction happening near our properties, but construction can pop up in the City of Newport Beach without notice.
By city rule, construction is only permitted Monday through Friday, 7am to 6:30pm. Refunds or credits will not be issued for any of the disclaimers above. SLP13745 I give my guests space but am available when needed We are available at any time to answer any questions or service the property. -This is an upper unit above the garage.
You must climb a flight of stairs to access unit.
Unit itself is all one level. -You get 1 parking spot in a shared garage with front lower unit.

The condo was newly renovated but for something just renovated it smelled incredibly musty, the heat didn’t work, it was damp and dirty, blinds were broken, the curtains were dirty and the couch was gross. I wouldn’t stay here again.

We really enjoyed our two week stay at 114 42nd. Easy and fun walks to Newport Pier and the Lido village area. Apartment was just as described with modern kitchen and nice quiet bedrooms. Was working remotely and internet didn’t let me down . Would definitely stay here again!
