Kokolo Beach Apartments is a self‑contained apartment in the village of Preko on the island of Ugljan, in Zadar County, Croatia, typically described as a quieter, residential‑style base with easy access to the sea and ferry links to Zadar.
The apartment sits in a Mediterranean‑style family house in a part of Preko that is set back from the main port and tourist hub, so it is relatively calm but still within walking distance of the village center, local shops, and the sea. The apartment is ideal if you want a quieter island‑based stay with easy access to beaches, local restaurants, and the Zadar–Preko ferry for city‑side dining and nightlife.
Note: Private parking is available, and a reservation is not required.

Sea, beaches, and water sports: Swim and relax at the local pebble beach Jaz directly in Preko, and take a short boat or kayak ride to nearby small islands and coves such as Galovac for clearer, quieter swimming. Use Preko’s marina and local agencies for kayaking, jet‑ski rentals, SUP, diving, and boat tours to nearby islands or the Kornati archipelago. Nature, hiking, and cycling: Walk or cycle along coastal paths and olive‑grove trails that criss‑cross Ugljan, with marked routes and viewpoints that lead from Preko inland toward hilltops and old stone walls. Take guided or self‑guided e‑bike tours around Ugljan to enjoy panoramic views over the Zadar Channel and the Kornati islands. Culture, excursions, and day trips: Visit local sights such as St. Michael’s fortress (for a wide view of the archipelago) and the Franciscan Monastery of St. Paul the Hermit, a short distance from Preko.
