The Apple Loft is a welcoming cottage situated on the outskirts of Exeter, Devon, offering an inviting retreat for couples or solo travellers looking to explore this vibrant cathedral city and the surrounding south Devon countryside. Thoughtfully arranged and well equipped, the cottage provides a welcoming base for days spent discovering coast, countryside, and culture.
Inside, the open-plan living space brings together a well-appointed kitchen, dining area, and sitting area, creating a sociable space to relax after a day out. The kitchen is fitted with everything needed for preparing meals at home, while the sitting area offers a Smart TV and comfortable seating for evenings in. A separate study provides a handy space for reading, planning days out, or catching up on work if required.
A spiral staircase leads to the first-floor double bedroom, which also features a sofa and Smart TV, offering a versatile space to unwind. Completing the accommodation is a contemporary shower room with a walk-in shower.
Outside, guests can enjoy an enclosed courtyard with furniture, ideal for morning coffee or dining outdoors. Off-road parking for one car is provided, adding to the convenience of the stay. The owner’s riding stables are located on site, with guests welcome to enjoy a discount on riding lessons or hacks during their stay.
A shop and pub are both within easy walking distance, while Exeter city centre offers an excellent selection of bars, restaurants, and shops alongside landmarks such as Exeter Cathedral, the historic Quayside, and Rougemont Gardens. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, slimline dishwasher, air fryer, kettle, and toaster, while the sitting area includes a Smart TV. The first-floor double bedroom includes a sofa and TV, and there is a ground-floor shower room with a walk-in shower, basin, and WC. Electric central heating, WiFi, fuel and power, bed linen, and towels are all included in the rent. Outside, there is an enclosed courtyard with furniture and off-road parking for one car. Highchair and travel cot are available on request. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Please note there is a spiral staircase within the property, a 150GBP good housekeeping bond applies, and the owner has riding stables on site with discounts available for guests on riding lessons or hacks.
